Medili is a vocal group formed in 2004. Its lead singer Amy Su is an organist, composer, and arranger, while her two daughters, Mona and Liza, are the backup singers. All the songs and music in their albums were composed by Amy; she wrote the lyrics and melodies, arranged the background music, and composed the harmony sections of the songs. The songs of Medili can be categorized into two types: relaxing, lively songs with themes of positive outlooks on life (e.g. the passion for life, the celebration of nature, etc.); and hymns/songs with religious themes (e.g. the praise to the Lord, the thirst for spiritual rebirth, etc.) These songs are in the style of popular music. Medili’s albums include Mandarin, English, and Taiwanese songs.
